Planet Postcards: Arrokoth

Magic Symbols 8: Arrokoth, the north sky. We look to you, far away and distant, you are a red haze at the limits of the light. On this precipice of time, in the icy grip of winter and darkness, your dim light can guide us to a real future.

The future is where we meet ourselves. Sometimes violently. Sometimes we bond so tightly that we cannot be extracted from the greater whole of what we are to become.

To become more than what we are, we must collaborate and take on a great deal perhaps.

The future is a faraway land that we can never go to. We can almost see it. The future is a dream that comes to us from latitudes beyond and we can plot it’s course if we take in all the right data.

I will make heat in this bitter chill. A heat that turns my skin to fire until it sweats and cries out for mercy. In this fevered state I will come to understand who I am and where I am meant to be…and I want you to be there with me.
